Ten years ago, at the very hour I write this, I embarked on a new phase in my life. My path merged with that of another in a way that is more beautiful than I could have expected. Though it's not always roses and potpourri, I feel like our marriage has been blessed beyond measure and for that I am grateful to my Heavenly Father. Everyday she grows more beautiful in my eyes.

The Smiths had a little excitement tonight. We had a neighbor knock on our door to tell us the was a fire in the woods right next to us. Fortunately, the fire department got it put out quick, but it was pretty scary there for a while.

Recently at preschool Josiah has been learning about music and he brought home an activity he did that involved various musical notation symbols. I thought he might enjoy if I showed him my music notation software. So yesterday, we sat down and I showed him a few things.

Sorry for the lack of content, we haven't had much time to work on our little project here.
